Clensta appoints Ashish Mishra as co-founder, chief business officer

Personal care brand Clensta has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Ashish Mishra as the co-founder and chief business officer.

In his new role, he will work with founder Puneet Gupta and will be responsible for the retail and online sales channels.

He has also been entrusted with the expansion of international, institutional, and alternate channels to increase the brand’s reach across different markets.

Commenting on the appointment, Puneet Gupta, founder of Clensta in a statement said, “We are thrilled to have Ashish on board who will add tremendous value to Clensta with his experience as an industry leader for almost 20 years. His rich experience and proven track record of scaling D2C businesses make him an invaluable addition to our team.”

Ashish Mishra added, “I am excited to be given this opportunity to work closely with Puneet and his talented team. Clensta has already disrupted the personal care space with its customer-centric approach and innovative offerings, and I am confident that together, we will scale this brand to greater heights in the years to come.”

Mishra has almost two decades of experience in various roles and joins Clensta from Mamaearth. He has previously worked with companies like Reliance, Tata Group, VLCC, and Russian Medicom.
