Cinnamon holds exclusive showcase for Bodice in Bengaluru

Multi-brand luxury Indian fashion retailer Cinnamon has launched an exclusive showcase event for modern apparel brand Bodice which runs at its Bengaluru boutique until January 19.

 
Cinnamon launched Bodice’s latest festive collection “Le Blue” in-store for an exclusive showcase on January 10, the boutique announced on Facebook. The 10-day event gives Bengaluru’s shoppers their first change to shop the collection in-store.
 
Bodice specialises in finding innovative uses for India’s indigenous textiles and creating androgynous silhouettes. Its latest collection continues this practice with loose shirt-dresses, sportswear inspired pull-overs, wide-leg trousers and a colour palette of navy blue, black, and burgundy. 

The utilitarian collection also features more avant-garde garments such as long-line coats with pleated details and futuristic bomber-style jackets. Other textiles feature white flecks in the weave, used in loose tops and dresses with a-line silhouettes.
 
Ruchika Sachdeva founded Bodice in New Delhi in May 2011 after graduating in fashion design and technology from the London College of Fashion, UK. The brand’s flagship store in located in Hauz Khas, New Delhi and Bodice also retails from around 20 sellers across India and around 15 internationally.
