Christian Dior doing very well

Christian Dior Couture, which includes all of the Christian Dior label's activities apart from perfumes, once again had a good 2014/15 financial year, which ended on 30 June.

For the period, the label recorded €1.77 billion euros in revenue, up 18% at a constant exchange rate and 10% at a comparable rate and scale.
 
Put in other terms, for the last number, the equivalent of the Louis Vuitton label's growth in its second quarter, which closed at the end of June.

For the second quarter of Christian Dior Couture's financial year, retail sales jumped 25% at a current exchange rate and 11% at a constant exchange rate.
 
The current operating result increased to €226 million, a 21% growth at a current exchange rate.

Christian Dior Couture is 100% owned by the Christian Dior Group, which itself holds more than 40% of LVMH.
