Chillosophy launches latest collection in Kolkata at Quest Mall’s Loft showcase
Sustainable fashion brand Chillosophy recently launched its 'Manifesto I' collection with an exclusive event at Quest Mall’s designer concept space, 'The Loft', in Kolkata, along with 15 other brands.
Chillosophy held its first pop-up of 2020 at The Loft in Kolkata, which launched on January 15, the brand announced on Facebook. Chillosophy is part of a group of up-and-coming brands featured in The Loft’s 'The Wardrobe' showcase, which runs until February 28. Other brands to feature in the showcase include Rajdeep Ranawat, Zaza by Somya Jewellery, Arpita Mehta, Outhouse, Patine, and Varun Bahl, among others.
The launch event gave the city’s shoppers their first chance to shop Chillosophy’s “slow fashion” womenswear collection in-store in Kolkata. Manifesto I was inspired by the avant garde post-World War 2 aesthetic movement, the brand told Vogue India, and features a military inspired colour palette, military inspired medal details, and fun touches such as heart shaped appliqués. Shirt dresses and loose, tailored separates present a feminine take on traditionally masculine military garb.
Chillosophy launched in December 2017 and the brand describes itself as “a minimalist label with an experimental heart."
The brand has also recently launched its Manifesto I collection at multi-brand luxury retailer Ogaan’s stores and at Chillosophy’s headquarters in Gurugram.
