Vogue Magazine alums and entrepreneurs Sylvana Durrett and Luisana Mendoza-Roccia launched on Wednesday Maisonette.com, a baby and children’s clothing and lifestyle e-commerce website.

Maisonette.com, the new e-commerce destination dedicated to clothing for children ages 0-12

The new website is a globally sourced and curated destination featuring 125 brands that offer clothing for children ages 0-12. Maisonette aggregates hard-to-find kids’ boutiques such as Yoya in New York City and Arcade in Nashville, and offers exclusive brands such as Stella McCartney, Bonpoint and Oeuf.

The e-commerce website raised $2.775 million in seed round funding from NEA, a venture capital firm that invested in Jet.com and Moda Operandi, and Thrive Partners, an early investor in Warby Parker and Harry's. Other private investors include Michael Kors, Andrew Rosen and Marcus Wainwright.

"We were inspired to launch Maisonette because of the frustration we felt when we tried to shop online for stylish, well-made products for our kids," said Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Sylvana Durrett. "The children's industry is more fragmented than any other and there is no central authority in the space.

The childrenswear market has outpaced all other apparel markets, reaching $300 billion in growth over the past five years. Maisonette aims to be an authority in the children’s market as a shopping destination and an editorial destination with interviews and photo shoots.
