Chennai Jewellery and Gem Fair to hold 2020 edition in March

Jewellery trade show Chennai Jewellery and Gem Fair will hold its 2020 edition from March 20 to 22 at the Chennai Trade Centre to showcase fine jewellery from South India to a diverse array of buyers and exporters.

The Chennai Jewellery and Gem Fair will hold its second edition yet this March and will feature over 100 exhibitors and 30 luxury brands, the trade show announced on its website. The business-to-business exhibition will feature product categories including gold, pearls, diamonds, fine jewellery, silver jewellery, machinery and equipment, software, and packaging, the event announced on Facebook. 
 
The trade show, which focuses on the South Indian jewellery industry, is organised by events business Informa Markets which runs jewellery trade shows in four other Indian cities. Visitor registration launched on January 25 and the event aims to draw a crowd of buyers, wholesalers, and exporters from across India. 

Jewellery brands which participated in the 2019 edition of the fair last March included Laxmi Chains- Bangalore, CNB Diamonds, Jewel 4 u, Khandan Chains, Bonitas, JKS Jewels Pvt Ltd, and Shanti Gold among others. The event also featured an “Artisans’ Zone” to showcase new, innovative designs and a “Hall of Fame” to showcase fine jewellery.
 
The trade show’s website stated that it, “provides an excellent platform for the gems and jewellery industry to come under one roof to meet, connect, network and grow their businesses. The expo continues to attract well-reputed local and overseas buyers, reinforcing the expo’s position as a proven and trusted sourcing hub for the industry.”
