Chandni Sahi to showcase at Deme's Christmas Pop Up in Mumbai

Chandni Sahi will present her latest collection, “Modern Roots” at the Deme Store Christmas Pop-Up from Dec. 22-23 in Bandra West, Mumbai.

Chandni Sahi will showcase her latest designs alongside the store’s own line, Deme by Gabriella, as well as leather hand bags from San Calpa, accessories from Propshop24 and jewellery from Angana Nanavaty.

The “Modern Roots” collection is inspired by her childhood connection to Kashmir and the region’s aesthetics as well as the cubism art movement, specifically Picasso. The collection features traditional wear with a modern twist and use Chanderis and Georgettes for a fluid silhouette. The collection is embellished with floral, antique pieces and prints are inspired by Picasso paintings and the colour palette included peach, red, and pink.

The Christmas Pop-Up at Deme by Gabriella will take place at the Deme flagship store from 11:30 am to 7 pm this weekend. Deme by Gabriella is a clothing brand by the former model Gabriella Demetriades that sells a selection of Grecian inspired fusion wear.

San Calpa will also present its latest collection, “Athena”, at the pop-up event. The collection is in collaboration with Sai and has the tagline, “New Philosophy. New Design. New Feel”. Propshop24 will showcase its line of modern accessories and Angana Nanavaty will present extravagant costume jewellery.
