CFDA lifts the veil on NYFW: Bridal schedule

Running from Thursday, October 3 through Sunday, October 6, the official schedule for New York Fashion Week: Bridal boasts more than 40 designers, with highlights including a 20th anniversary show from Anne Barge.

Revealed on Thursday, the calendar features CFDA member showcases from Lela Rose and Marchesa, as well as from Vera Wang and Carolina Herrera, who will both by showing their collections by appointment.
 
The two world-renowned New York-based labels will be joined in this decision by over a dozen other brands from around the world, including Barcelona-based Yolancris, London’s Temperley Bridal and Tel Aviv’s Eisen Stein, all of whom have opted to show by appointment this season.

On the catwalk, the first day of runway presentations will kick off with a show from Romona Keveza, with later presentations from Marchesa and Lela Rose rubbing shoulders with France’s Rime Arodaky and Vietnamese designer Phuong My, who showed her debut bridal collection in New York this April.
 
Celebrating 20 years since the brand was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, the Anne Barge anniversary show brings Thursday, October 3’s program to a close.
 
Friday, October 4 offers the most tightly packed schedule of the three-day event, with some 11 brands showing their latest bridal collections, including White Connection, Ines di Santo and JLM Couture, as well as 2019 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Danielle Frankel.
 
NYFW: Bridal concludes on October 5, with runway presentations from Alexandra Grecco, Jenny Yoo and Visçera NY, while brands from the Julie Vino group, including Eden Aharon, Elia Vatine and Valeri, will be showing their collections together in a show that starts at 3PM.
 
Notable absences this season include NYFW: Bridal regulars and CFDA members Reem Acra, Naeem Khan and Monique Lhuillier, while NYC-based Sachin & Babi, which made its debut at the event in April, will also not be returning.
