Beginning with the spring summer 2022 season, Centro Brands will launch Toms footwear across India under license, the brand announced in a press release.

“We're thrilled to partner with Centro, a distributor with a strong track record within the global footwear industry and a deep understanding of our brand's mission to use business to improve lives,” said Toms’ CEO Magnus Wedhammar in a press release. “It'll be exciting to see how they leverage their experience to introduce Toms to a new audience.”

Toms’ signature shoe is a slide-on sneaker-like shoe designed to be versatile and made with a blend of materials including recycled cotton canvas. Centro Brands has big plans for the label and aims to open around 20 Toms stores in India in the coming three years. The brand will also retail in multi-brand stores online and offline including Tata Cliq, Tata Cliq Luxe, Myntra, Ajio Gold, and Nykaa and will launch a dedicated e-commerce store for India.

“We are ecstatic to announce Centro Brands' exclusive partnership with Toms for India,” said Centro Brands Private Limited’s director Madhav Bollam.

“Toms shoes are not only trendy and comfortable, but they are also socially responsible and purpose-driven. Their Earthwise range has ecological and vegan sneakers manufactured from recycled and recyclable materials that appeal to Gen Z.”
