Cavinkare’s Meera brand enters skincare market
FMCG major Cavinkare’s flagship herbal hair care brand Meera has entered the lucrative skincare market with the launch of its first product ‘Meera’ facewash.
As part of the launch, the brand has rolled out a new TV Campaign to project Meera as a wholesome personal care brand.
Meera claims that its face wash is made from all natural ingredients and banking on its affordable pricing to make inroads in the country’s burgeoning natural skincare market.
Commenting on the launch, Rajat Nanda, business head personal care at Cavinkare in a statement said, “Meera, as a brand has always resonated with deep-rooted traditions, and we are thrilled to be extending that emotion and benefit to our consumers with our entry into the skincare category. With this entry, Meera - one of our flagship and iconic brands today becomes a holistic personal care brand and this indeed is an important milestone in the journey of Cavinkare."

The new product line-up has three variants keeping in mind the skin care problems faced by women of different age groups. The newly launched face wash range will be available across the general trade and kirana stores while the the 200gm facewash will be available online across e-commerce platforms.
