CaratLane increases focus on everyday jewellery with new line 'En Vogue'
Tanishq’s fine jewellery brand CaratLane has increased its focus on everyday jewellery and launched a new jewellery line named ‘En Vogue’. Available in select cities across India, the line caters to the increasing demand for lightweight gold jewellery.
The new line features modern style necklaces, earrings, and bracelets in 18 carat gold and studded with pearls and diamonds, CaratLane announced on Facebook on March 15. The line launched with 20 pieces which are designed to be versatile and worn with a range of clothing styles.
“We see an increasing trend in everyday jewellery as it is becoming an elevated style statement for the women of India,” said CaratLane’s head of design and merchandise Kinnari Shah, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Our customers are constantly seeking new designs that are trending globally. We have launched En Vogue by CaratLane to fulfil the needs of many such women and make global trends accessible in the fine jewellery segment in India. These stylish designs are available at a price point of Rs 15,000 onwards.”
One reason why everyday, lightweight jewellery is rising in popularity is that more women are buying jewellery for themselves instead of receiving it as a gift or seeing it purely as an investment. With the rising middle class and increased rates of women in the workforce, this trend is only expected to continue.
