The new store is located at City Park in Powai and will house the latest collections from the brand like Jhanak, Pero, Aranya, Noor-e-Kashmir among many others.

The company considers Mumbai as an important market as it has been witnessing strong demand from the financial capital of India. Strong online sales from the Powai region led to the opening of this store.

Commenting on the store opening, Mithun Sacheti, founder and CEO of CaratLane in a statement said, “Mumbai is a crucial market for us and we have had a high demand to launch more stores here. This store is likely to appeal more to the young working professionals residing in the area and hence is designed keeping their needs in mind.”

Atul Sinha, senior vice president (retail) at CaratLane added, “Powai has been a very important region for us as far as online sale goes, and hence we are thrilled to launch our latest store in Mumbai here.”

Caratlane is planning to open 28 new stores to reach a store count of 90 by end of the financial year 2019-20. At present, the company has around 62 stores across the country.
