Cantabil Retail’s Q3 net profit rises 13 percent to Rs 27 crore
Cantabil Retail India posted a 13 percent rise in net profit to Rs 27 crore ($3.3 million) for the quarter ended December 2022, as against Rs 24 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 24 percent to Rs 163 crore,as against Rs 132 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Commenting on the results, Vijay Bansal, chairman managing director of Cantabil Retail India in a statement said, “I am happy to share that we have registered revenue of Rs 163 crore in Q3 FY23 with Ebitda and PAT of Rs 56 crore and Rs 27 crore, respectively. For the nine-month period, revenue stood at Rs 380 crore with Ebitda and PAT of Rs 123 crore and Rs 50 crore respectively."
“Our revenue from the same stores have played an instrumental role in delivering the desired growth in financial performance,” he added.
Established in 1989, Cantabil Retail India is in the business of designing, manufacturing, branding, and retailing of apparel, accessories under the brand name Cantabil. It retails through its offline stores and marketplaces like Myntra, Ajio, Flipkart, Amazon, among others.
