Calvin Klein names Linh Peters as global chief marketing officer

PVH-owned brand Calvin Klein has named Linh Peters as its new global chief marketing officer, effective November 2.

In the role, Peters will drive brand experience, product marketing and data-driven marketing innovation for the Calvin Klein brand globally. She will also oversee all aspects of Calvin Klein’s consumer marketing organization. 

Peters comes to the company from Starbucks, where she most recently served as vice president, loyalty, partnerships and licensed stores product and marketing of Starbucks, overseeing the brand’s loyalty program and all digital consumer engagement strategies and marketing. Previously, she was Starbucks’ vice president of brand and product marketing. 

Pior to joining Starbucks, Peters served as the head of loyalty marketing and strategy at Ulta Beauty and led marketing and strategy for Target Redcard. 

The brand said that Greg Stogdon, Calvin Klein’s current acting chief brand officer, and J.D. Ostrow, acting chief marketing officer, will continue to work with the brand in new ways as Calvin Klein has engaged their agency, Frosty Pop, as branding agency of record. 

Stogdon and Ostrow will work with Peters to continue to build on the brand positioning and creative direction that they have established over the last year, the brand said. 

Peters' appointment comes alongside Calvin Klein's appointment of Jacob Jordan as global chief merchant and product strategist.
