CFDA announces Americans in Paris roster

The CFDA has announced the line-up for the upcoming "Americans in Paris" showcase during Paris Fashion Week. The annual showcase gives up-and-coming American design talent the opportunity to show off their collections to the European and international press.

Steven Kolb, president and CEO of the CFDA said, “The twelfth season of Americans in Paris features an entirely new lineup of designers from the 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, including the winner and two runners-up. Showing in Paris during fashion week allows these emerging talents to bring their creativity to a global platform.”

The lucky few brands to be selected are Brock Collections (designed by Laura Vassar Brock and Kristopher Brock), Adam Selman, Krewe (designed by  Stirling Barrett), Ji Oh, Area (designed by Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk), Morgan Lane (designed by Morgan Curtis), Chloe Gosselin, NewBarK (desiged by Maryam and Marjan Malakpour), and Rochambeau (designed by Joshua Cooper and Laurence Chandler).

The showcase will take place at 29 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, a former residence of Coco Chanel.

Past participants in the Americans in Paris showroom include Jonathan Simkhai, Chromat, Borhter Vellies, Prabal Gurung, Pamela Love, and Eddie Borgo.

The event will run from March 4 to March 6 during Paris Fashion Week.
