In the wake of her move, Dior has reordered its communications team, which the house confirmed in a release.

“Giuseppe Sperandio has been appointed International Press and Public Relations Director for Christian Dior Couture (Women's categories-Dior Maison-Baby) and Corporate Communications,” Dior said in the communiqué.

The move is an internal promotion for the multilingual, Italian-born Sperandio who was previously press, celebrities and events director communications for Dior Men.

Sperandio “replaces Sandrine Serre and Isabel Moessinger who has decided to pursue her career outside the Group. Sandrine Serre has been appointed Press, PR, Events and Celebrities International Director for Dior Men,” the release added.

Moessinger departed Dior in December, and has moved to London this week to take up her new position. She will report to Rod Manley, Chief Marketing Officer of Burberry.

Both the new appointments at Dior took effect Jan. 1 and both executives will report to Olivier Bialobos, Chief Communication and Image Officer of Dior.

“I am delighted with this reorganization, which allows two talented members of my team to grow. I am convinced that Giuseppe and Sandrine will continue to contribute strongly to the reputation of the Dior brand throughout the world. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Isabel for her commitment to the house over the past seven years,” said Bialobos.
