Budweiser partners with Myntra for ‘Streetwear Co’ launch

Budweiser Experiences has partnered with fashion e-commerce player Myntra for the launch of its new ‘Budweiser Streetwear’ collection.

The Budweiser Streetwear collection comprises of silhouettes of t-shirts, sweatshirts, tops, track pants, and more, which have been specifically created with Indian street culture in mind.
 
Commenting on the launch, Alexander Lambrecht, vice president marketing – South Asia at AB InBev (parent firm of Budweiser), in a statement said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of Budweiser Streetwear Co. in association with Myntra, a platform that has grown exponentially over the years, and established itself as the go-to when it comes to fashion. This synergy will enable us to connect with the burgeoning street community of India, aiding us in our continual effort of creating and nurturing culture.”

Ayyappan Rajagopal, head of business at Myntra, added, “We are extremely delighted to launch Budweiser Streetwear Co. on our platform, coming as it does, ahead of our flagship End of Reason Sale, EORS. Budweiser’s theme and attitude resonate well with our young and discerning customer base. Myntra’s large user base and reach offer the perfect launchpad for Budweiser Streetwear Co. to establish itself in the hearts of aficionados across the country.”  
 
Budweiser has also launched face masks which will be sold on Myntra’s mask store. The company had entered the apparel space last year by collaborating with popular brands like Veg Non-Veg (VNV), Huemn, NorBlack NorWhite (NBNW), and others.
