Budweiser enters fashion space with launch of streetwear collection in India

Budweiser Experiences has collaborated with five young designer brands from India for the launch of its first-ever streetwear collection of unisex apparel and accessories ‘Budxstreet’ in the country.

The five collaborators for the collection include multi-brand sneaker store Veg Non Veg (VNV); designer labels Huemn and NorBlack NorWhite (NBNW); co-founder and artistic director Hanif Kureshi; and Boxout.FM, an online community radio station.
 
Commenting on the launch, Kartikeya Sharma, vice president marketing for South Asia, AB InBev in a statement said, “We are thrilled to launch Budxstreet’in India, which is our platform to engage the rising street culture community in India. The synergies in the ideals and beliefs of the brand and that of the collaborators have enabled the curation of a collection that is not only exclusive but also inspirational and distinct.

“We are also very glad to see the enthusiastic response from the collaborators and community to this platform, and have a strong ambition for this in the future,” he added.
 
The collection will feature hoodies, jackets, skirts, trousers, dresses, and shirts. The collection has been priced at Rs 2,500 ($35) onwards and will be exclusively available on the brand's online store.
