Brillare names Vaani Kapoor as hair oil brand ambassador, plans retail expansion

Emami-backed personal care brand Brillare has named actress Vaani Kapoor as brand ambassador for its all natural hair oil range. The brand plans to open 50 Indian stores as part of its omni-channel expansion strategy. 

In her new role as brand ambassador, Kapoor stars in Brillare’s ‘Hair on High’ campaign which is designed to highlight the traditional practice of hair oiling, the brand announced in a press release on February 12. 
 
“Brillare is constantly challenging the status-quo by creating innovative products that are made with real natural ingredients,” said Brillare’s CEO Jigar Patel in a press release.  “We are the first zero dilution, all natural brand in India to provide dermatology grade results without chemical abuse. With #HairOnHigh campaign, we would like to create a strong connect with millennial audience in the language that they would strongly resonate.”

Brillare plans to open over 50 exclusive brand outlets across India and pursue an omni-channel expansion strategy. The brand also aims to continue to expand in the premium salon space. 
 
“The brand plans an aggressive growth in the coming year,” said Patel. “Vaani Kapoor fits perfectly well with the brands ethos and her persona augurs positively with Brillare consumers providing both, credibility and salience to the brand.”

Brillare’s hair care products are chemical-free and preservatives-free. The brand is vegan and also retails skin and body care lines. Brillare retails in salon chains and on multi-brand e-commerce stores including Nykaa, Amazon, and Flipkart, among others.
