The collection consists of three specially designed prints featuring whimsical imagery of crossed fingers, horseshoes, and lucky cats. The gender-neutral shirts have launched on Bombay Shirt Company’s dedicated e-commerce store priced at Rs 2,500 ($33.59).

“With the way the past year has been, we could all do with some love and luck in our lives, so we thought 'why not wear your luck?'” the brand’s founder and CEO, Akshay Narvekar told Vogue India.

“We hope this feel-good collection spreads some positivity and good cheer to everyone that wears it.”

Safomasi, a textile brand based between India and the UK, is known for its bright, cheerful prints and also creates a range of homeware including cushions. The collaborative collection mixes Bombay Shirt Company’s classic shirt tailoring with Safomasi’s bespoke textile design.

As Bombay Shirt Company is based in Mumbai, it has been forced to temporarily halt its operations due to the state-wide lockdown.

“Thank you for your love and support, we promise to be back soon,” the Bombay Shirt Company announced on Facebook. “In the meantime, we hope you all stay home and stay safe.”
