Bombay Perfumery collaborates with Abode for summer event

The fragrance brand Bombay Perfumery will host Stories of Summer in collaboration with Abode to showcase the brand’s scents in a book club setting.

Bombay Perfumery will celebrate the launch of its latest fragrance and scented candle collection with an intimate event at Abode in Mumbai on May 11. The brand posted on its social media that the event will take the form of a book club and was inspired by its new fragrance Pondicherry Yellow which contains notes of coconut, sandalwood, and turmeric. 

The event invites fans of the brand to meet each other and browse the brand’s latest seasonal offerings. “Share your favourite books, stories, excerpts that bring summer to your mind,” wrote the brand on its social media.

Abode Bombay, a boutique hotel situated in the city’s Colaba district. The hotel is also currently running an exhibition of photographs and artwork by Kuber Shah and Shivani Parasnis. The exhibition began on April 25 and will run for one month and will focus on Mumbai’s Art Deco design history. Last month the hotel held a makeup masterclass with Thriive India.

Bombay Perfumery was founded in 2016 in Mumbai as a contemporary fragrance house. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store as well as 15 multi-brand boutiques across India including in Goa, Kochi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad among other locations.
