Lifestyle brand Boat has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of three new senior executives to help it expand its presence across segments over the next few years.

The company has appointed Shashwat Singh as chief information officer, Ankur Sharma as chief financial officer, and Prashant Kamal as head of India manufacturing supply chain.
 
The new team will be based out of New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru offices, and will work closely with the co-founders Aman Gupta, Sameer Mehta, and CEO Vivek Gambhir.

Commenting on the appointments, Vivek Gambhir, CEO at Boat, in a statement said: “We are thrilled to welcome Shashwat, Ankur, and Prashant to our core leadership team as we prepare for our next phase of growth. All three of them bring a wealth of experience and best practices from global companies. Their values, skills and expertise will enable us to dramatically scale up and build a high-performance organization. Together, we look forward to bringing the best we have to offer to our community of Boatheads.”
 
Boat was launched in 2016 and has already raised around $100 million (Rs 740 crore) million from an affiliate of Warburg Pincus to fuel its growth plans. The brand recently expanded its portfolio with the launch of its sub-brand ‘Misfit’ marking its entry into the lucrative personal grooming segment.
