Boat announced the launch of Fitness Xtended on Facebook on November 1. Owners of Boat’s smart wearables can now access a six-week at-home workout programme which includes yoga and strength and conditioning exercises among others which aims to promote fitness and show the possibilities of wearables. The programme is also available to users of the Cult.Fit fitness app.

“In collaboration with the Cult.Fit, we're excited to be part of this fitness revolution,” said Boat brand manager Siya Wadhawan, Brand Licence reported. “By customising workout routines and run plans, our smartwatches enable users to move beyond basic activity tracking and advance in their fitness journeys. With this partnership, we continue to inspire and support boAtheads with products that support healthy living and enable them to select a fitter lifestyle.”

The sessions are led by a group of celebrity personal trainers and fitness gurus including Suvini Mehra, Naveen Sharma, Carolyn Theresa Simon, and Niran Ponnappa. The brands both plan to continue to expand the scope of this interactive fitness series to engage a wider demographic.
