Bluestone to expand retail footprint across India
India’s leading fine jewellery brand, Bluestone, has strengthened its retail footprint with the launch of its first store in Gurugram at the Gold Souk Mall.
Bluestone has been on an expansion spree and plans to add around 100 stores across the country by end of this calendar year. The new store will house jewellery collections from 7,000-plus in-house designs including rings, bracelets, pendants, necklaces, and earrings, among others.
"We aim to strategically establish various stores to offer buyers an immersive jewellery browsing and buying experience. We have had eighteen successful launch stories so far in our saga of expanding our offline footprint across the country. With the launch of our Gurugram chapter, we hope that people of Gurugram will welcome Bluestone with similar vigour, especially since it is one of our pioneer stores launches", said Gaurav Singh Kushwaha, founder and CEO of Bluestone, said in a statement.
Launched in 2011, Bluestone is one of India's largest omnichannel jewellery companies. At present, it has 18 stores across India.
The company is targeting revenue of Rs 1,000 crore ($140.4 million) in FY19 and expects to achieve profitability around the same time.
