BlueStone promotes COO Sudeep Nagar to co-founder

BlueStone has promoted its chief operating officer Sudeep Nagar to the role of co-founder. Nagar’s elevation coincides with his 10 year anniversary at the jewellery business. 

“It’s no coincidence that Sudeep’s elevation to co-founder comes just as he marks a decade of building BlueStone,” said BlueStone’s CEO and co-founder Gaurav Singh Kushwaha, ET Bureau reported. “In these 10 years, his initiatives have impacted all possible functions like marketing, retail, sales, logistics, accounts, and more.”
 
In his new role, Nagar will work on leveraging technology to ameliorate the brand’s consumer experience. Nagar will work with both direct-to-customer and brick-and-mortar retail channels. 

Nagar joined the BlueStone business in 2012 and is a graduate of IIM Ahmedabad. Nagar has experience in industries ranging from luxury real estate to software. 
 
BlueStone describes itself as a designer diamond jewellery brand and its online store features over 8,700 designs, according to its Facebook page. The brand launched in 20 11 in Bengaluru with a focus on online sales and it now also retails from over 140 offline stores. 
 
The brand recently launched its winter holiday collection which includes a wide range of lightweight and trend-led jewellery pieces designed for festive gifting. BlueStone also recently launched new watch collection ‘Ivoire’, inspired by the Taj palace.
