Blissclub appoints Soumen Samanta as chief revenue officer

Women’s activewear brand Blissclub has appointed Soumen Samanta as its chief revenue officer. He joins Blissclub from e-commerce major Meesho where he led the retention and engagement charter.

Founded in 2020 by Minu Margeret, Blissclub claims to have a customer base of over 2 lakh women in India with an annual recurring revenue of Rs 100 crore ($12.1 million).

In his new role at Blissclub, Samanta will be responsible to further drive the company’s online and offline growth as it targets to be a Rs 1000 crore profitable business over the next 2-3 years.

Commenting on his new role, Soumen Samanta in a statement said, “I’m super excited to partner with Minu and the fantastic team at Blissclub for this pivotal phase in the brand's journey as we enter new markets, categories and channels with tech and a user-first lens. In a very quick span of time.”

Soument Samanta is a seasoned professional with experience across sectors as he previously worked for Swiggy, Myntra, Landmark Group and Aditya Birla group.
