Blackberrys launches India's first cotton knitted khaki range ‘Knitalia’

Indian menswear brand Blackberrys launched the country’s first cotton knitted khaki range ‘‘Knitalia’ during the second edition of India Khaki Week in Kolkata.

Knitalia will comprise khaki shirts and other apparel. The brand has signed Indian cricketer Dinesh Kartik to endorse the new range.
 
Commenting on the launch, Sangeet Kishore, brand head at Blackberrys in a statement said, “Today’s on-the-move generation is both fashion focused and career oriented. This prompted to use, innovate and create Knitalia’s range of 100% cotton knitted apparels that aim to bring out the best of comfort, stretch, sweat-absorbance and breathability to the wearer.”

Ramesh Kaushik, vice president-brand experience added, “We have many firsts to our name and this new range of Knitalia, adds another feather to our cap.”
 
“We are delighted to be associated with Dinesh Karthik. His personality perfectly complements and represents the spirit of Khaki which is versatility, durability, and resiliency,” he said.
 
Blackberrys has its presence across 350 cities in India and operates more than 260 exclusive brand outlets and 700-plus multi-brand outlets. It is expecting revenue of Rs 1,100 crore ($159.6 million) for the recently concluded financial year 2018-19.
