Birla Ayurveda has expanded its product portfolio in the personal care category with the launch of two new products, catering to skincare and hair care, respectively.

The company has launched a new rose soap and hair nutrition shampoo. It is banking on its affordable pricing to make inroads into the personal care segment.

Birla Ayurveda, owned by the Yash Birla Group, has been investing heavily in its personal care products, as it sees growth potential in this segment. The brand currently has a product line that consists of Aloe Vera Gel, Neem Tulsi face wash, and Papaya & Neem Aloe Vera soap, among others.

Commenting on the new launch, Ashish Thakur, business head at Birla Ayurveda, in a statement said: “All our personal care products are chemical-free and aesthetic. With these new launches, we aim to reach a wider audience at an affordable cost.”

Birla Ayurveda’s newly launched products will be available across Birla centres, as well as their website. It will also be launched on popular e-commerce sites, such as Amazon and others, in the coming months.
