Birkenstock opens two new stores in Bengaluru

German footwear brand Birkenstock has expanded its brick-and-mortar presence in South India and opened two new stores in Bengaluru, one in Forum Falcon City and one in Nexus Mall. 

The new Birkenstock store in Forum Falcon City measures 1,280 square feet and houses over 250 different footwear designs, the brand announced in a press release on March 8. The brand also opened a 775 square foot retail space in Nexus Mall with a similar selection of styles.
 
Footwear styles on display in the new stores include signature designs such as ‘Arizona’, ‘Gizeh’, ‘Madrid’, and ‘Mayari’ as well as seasonal shoes. The stores cater to men, women, and children and Birkenstock footwear is designed to focus on comfort and durability. 

“With a history that can be traced as far back as 1774, Birkenstock is known for its exceptional comfort and sophisticated footbed technology which is fused with the latest fashion trends,” the brand announced in a press release. “Focused towards excellent comfort, high functionality and extraordinary quality, the footwear by Birkenstock are a perfect pick for those seeking out style along with exceptional comfort. An absolute favourite among consumers from across the country, the newly opened stores located in the South of India will continue to craft and cater to unique and fashionable footwear for adults and kids!”
 
Birkenstock has recently opened a number of stores in South India including in Bengaluru’s Orion Mall. The brand has also opened stores in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad; Lulu Mall, Kochi; Express Avenue Mall, Chennai; and Nexus Mall and Sarath City, Hyderabad.
