Biba totals 13 stores in Rajasthan with third store opening in Kota

Biba has opened its third brick-and-mortar store in Kota located in the city’s Great Mall of Kota. The opening brings the brand’s total store count in Rajasthan to 13.

The ethnic wear brand Biba recently opened a 1,100-square-foot store in the Mall of Kota, the brand’s third store in Kota and thirteenth in the state of Rajasthan. The store stocks the brand’s range of kurtas, dupattas, and ready-to-stitch textiles among other garments. The store opened with Biba’s current autumn/ winter 2019 collection and also has a dedicated Biba Girls section for children’s wear. 

“It gives us immense pleasure to announce our new store in the heart of Kota city,” Biba’s managing director Siddharath Bindra said in a press release. “Being an educational hub, the city is full of young women coming from all parts of the country, who are brand cautious and want to keep their wardrobe updated. This new store will help us to cater the increasing demand of these 21st century women more adequately.”

As Kota is a Tier 2 city, Biba’s strong presence in the location shows the brand’s commitment to non-metro expansion in India. The brand has been consistently expanding throughout India and aims to continue this trend.
