Biba’s opens its 24th store in Mumbai

Biba, the women’s ethnic wear brand as part of its nationwide expansion plan has opened an exclusive brand outlet in the city of Mumbai taking the total count to 24 in the city.
 


The new store is located at Linking Road Mumbai and spreads across 1,100 sq feet stocking the latest Spring-Summer 2018 collection.
 
The brand expects Rs 600 crore revenue (approx $ 90.1) in the current financial year and will be investing heavily on expanding its physical network in India.

Biba has plans to add over 200 exclusive brand outlets across India in the next three years in its latest wave of retail expansion.
 
Commenting on this launch, Siddharath Bindra, Managing Director, Biba in a statement said, “I feel proud to launch our 24th store in a city that witnessed the launch of Biba’s 1st store, back in 2004; I am truly delighted with the progress that we have made in the last 14 years. Mumbai holds a special place in the life of Biba as it is the city of our origin and Mumbaikars have always showered us with tremendous love and support.”
 
Biba currently has 247 exclusive brand outlets across the country and also available on all leading e-commerce websites. The brand recently partnered with Amazon India for an exclusive line called ‘Biba ready-to-stitch-collection’.
