With relaxation in lockdown rules, Biba has already opened stores in over 40 cities, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Guwahati, and Patna, among others. It is expected to open its stores in shopping malls later this month.

Biba will operate some of these stores on alternate days and strictly follow the advice of government health authorities by introducing a wide variety of safety measures.

Commenting on the reopening, Siddharth Bindra managing director at Biba, in a statement said: “We have a lot of loyal customers who absolutely love shopping from Biba and we are delighted to serve them once again with the reopening of our stores. We hope to meet the current needs of all our customers and quickly bounce back to the pre-Covid-19 business."

“The south market has always been welcoming to us and we are sure that reopening of stores will be cherished by our patrons, though, it is too soon to expect that things will go back to normal,” he added.

Going forward, Biba plans to scale up its e-commerce operations, as it looks to generate maximum business through this channel for future growth.
