Biba partners with Rohit Bal for festive wear line

Ethnic wear and lifestyle brand Biba has collaborated with luxury occasion wear designer Rohit Bal to launch a range of women’s traditional wear. The line features a range of embellished matching sets designed for the summer and festive seasons. 

“These high on elegance ethnic sets are perfect for weddings,” announced Biba on Facebook as it launched the collection. “Check out our Indian wear collection by Rohit Bal by visiting the stores or biba.in. Shop now!”
 
The collection is a classic take on traditional wear with ample gold decorations and long, floaty silhouettes. Notable designs include a black kurta set with striking gold piping and a lemon yellow set with flouncy details. 

The collection is available on Biba’s e-commerce store and in its exclusive brand outlets across India. By partnering with Biba on a ready-to-wear line, Bal is able to bring his designs to new customer demographics in the mass market. 
 
Rohit Bal made his fashion debut in 1986 with his brother Rajiv Bal when the duo founded the export company Orchid Oversea Private Limited. Bal then launched his eponymous brand and first collection in 1990 and, since then, the designer has made a name for himself in both occasion wear and couture.
