Biba opens new flagship store in Raipur

Women’s ethnic wear brand Biba has opened a new store in Raipur. The brand is continuing its brick-and-mortar expansion across India and its new Raipur address retails its full selection of clothing, accessories, and lifestyle goods. 

Biba sent actress and influencer Kajal Shrivas to its new store in Raipur to browse its latest designs and look around the spacious outlet in a new brand film. “We love that she loves our new collection and we bet, you will too,” announced Biba on Facebook. “Visit our new store and check out for more new drops.”
 
Biba has opened a number of stores so far this year in Gurgaon, Raipur, Dehradun, Agra, and Noida. The brand plans to continue to open new stores in 2023 and also retails from its dedicated e-commerce store. 

As well as focusing on its retail expansion, Biba is also gearing up to launch an initial public offering. The opening date is yet to be announced and the IPO will constitute a fresh issue of equity shares amounting to Rs 90 crore and an offer for sale of 2.7 crore equity shares, Angel One reported. The proceeds from the IPO will be used to clear debts and put towards brand building and other strategic growth initiatives.
 
Biba was launched in 1986 as a women's ethnic wear brand and it has since expanded to retail girls' clothing, accessories, and perfume among other products. Biba also has a number of international stores including in Nepal and Singapore.
