Bhartiya International Ltd receives Chem-MAP Approved Partner status

Leather apparel export manufacturing business Bhartiya International Limited has been awarded Chem-MAP Approved Partner status following its chemical management audit.

“We are pleased to have Bhartiya International Ltd onboard the Chem-MAP Approved Partner programme, the award is in recognition of the positive activities that the company has been working on to ensure chemical compliance and transparency in their supply chain,” said Chem-MAP head, Georgina Mawer, in a press release. 
 
Chem-MAP undertook an audit of Bhartiya International Limited’s chemical management systems including chemical purchasing and procurement processes, storing and handling of chemicals. The business was awarded its new title due to its chemical compliance and commitment to chemical transparency, according to Chem-MAP. 

“The award for Bhartiya international ltd as a Chem-MAP partner is a recognition for doing things right,” said Bhartiya International Limited’s COO and leather division head, Kishore A V, in a press release. 

“Our journey continues in this right direction, the chemical inputs will result in safer products, cleaner water, fresher air that will truly benefit all stakeholders and the planet.” 
 
Chem-MAP is part of the Eurofins BLC Leather Technology Centre, based in Northampton, UK. The business provides risk management solutions for the leather supply chain. 
 
Bhartiya International Limited is a holding company specialising in leather and textiles, based in Gurugram. The business exports leather garments and accessories to China and Italy and also distributes them across India.
