Bharatpe names Nishant Jain as chief business officer

​Bharatpe, India’s largest merchant payment network, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Nishant Jain as chief business officer.
 

Nishant joins Bharatpe from e-commerce platform Zomato and will be responsible for Bharatpe’s next phase of growth and expansion plans.
 
Commenting on the appointment, Ashneer Grover, co-founder and CEO of Bharatpe, in a statement said: “We are delighted to welcome Nishant onboard. He brings in a wealth of deep expertise in building and scaling up merchant focused business, go-to-market teams and driving accelerated growth. His role will be crucial in growing our merchant network in India while generating and scaling the loan revenues for Bharatpe.”

Nishant has years of multi-industry experience and has worked in leadership roles with Pepsi, and the Coca Cola Company, among many others.
 
Bharatpe was co-founded by Ashneer Grover and Shashvat Nakrini in 2018. It has already established its operations in 13 cities and currently serves over 10 Lakh merchants across India.
