Bewakoof partners with Bollywood flick Toofaan to launch an exclusive collection

India’s largest D2C youth fashion brand Bewakoof has collaborated with Excel Entertainment to launch an exclusive collection of the Bollywood flick 'Toofaan' starring actor, Farhan Akthar.

The newly launched range of Toofaan fashion apparels will be exclusively available on Bewakoof’s e-commerce website.
 
Commenting on the collaboration, Farhan Akthar, in a statement said: “Toofaan is a movie about a boxer who like a phoenix rises from ashes and is an ode to the indomitable human spirit. The connection between the movie and what Bewakoof represents is a compelling association and we are happy to be a part of the Bewakoof gang.”

Prabhkiran Singh, founder and CEO of Bewakoof, added: “Our brand stands for expressions which reflect our youth and their mindset. We identify with Farhan and his journey of making fearless choices and be a different actor just like us. Toofaan is the fight of the underdog. Bewakoof has always been Vocal for Local and giving unique and thoughtful Indian choices to Indians. Two hatke (different in hindi) brands coming together to launch an exclusive collection is bound to be a Toofaani mix and we are confident that our customers would show their love in abundance.” 
 
Launched in 2012 by Prabhkiran Singh, Bewakoof claims to have a customer base of around 10 million. The brand had recently secured $4 million (Rs 29 crore) funding from IvyCap Ventures.
