Bewakoof launches streetwear line, aims for Rs 2,000 sales by 2025

Clothing brand Bewakoof has stepped into streetwear with the launch of its new line ‘Seedhe Gully Se’ as part of its plan to reach Rs 2,000 crore ($300.6 million) in sales by 2025 through diversifying its product offering.

Inspired by the streets of India, Bewakoof’s first streetwear offering features oversized layers, bold pop-culture inspired prints, and bright colours, the brand announced on Facebook. Seedhe Gully Se launched with a fashion film broadcast on numerous platforms including Youtube to present the collection and its streetwear aesthetics as the brand expands its garment and accessories offering.  

“As a brand, we are on track to achieve Rs 2000 crore revenue mark by 2025,” said Bewakoof’s founder and CEO Prabhkiran Singh, ET Bureau reported.

“As part of our scale up strategy, we will be launching multiple new categories and also going deep in the categories we are already present in. Streetwear category with a desi heart is another step in this direction.”
 
The collection is gender-neutral and garments come in a wide range of sizes as part of the brand’s aim to be size inclusive. The over 100-piece collection retails from Bewakoof’s dedicated e-commerce store. 
 
“Bewakoof's aim is to become a house of brands and one stop shop for creative, unique and expression led merchandise spanning fashion, beauty, apparel and many more,” said Singh.
