Bewakoof enters beauty market with the launch of Cosmos brand
Youth brand Bewakoof has announced its entry into the fast-growing beauty and personal care space with the launch of Cosmos Beauty.
The brand has been launched with 43 products across categories that include products from creams, oils, facewash, bath salts, shaving cream, beard oil, shampoos, cleanser, moisturizer facemasks, and serums.
Bewakoof expects its newly launched brands to generate strong sales over the next few months and expects the brand to hit Rs 100 crore ($13.5 million) by 2023.
Commenting on the launch, Prabhkiran Singh, founder and CEO of Bewakoof, in a statement said: “As a brand, Bewakoof has carved its space in the minds and hearts of the millennials with its fashion range. We will be disappointed if we don’t hit Rs 100 crore in 18 months and we are quite confident of hitting Rs 500 crore in 4 years.”
Aditi Pai, business head at Cosmos Beauty added: “Mineral-based beauty products are the latest innovation globally and we aim to bring the best of the cosmic universe to our customers in the form of Cosmos. The entire range is curated to cater to the requirement of the urban market that is looking for healthy and safe beauty products.”
Cosmos Beauty products will be available on Bewakoof’s website and leading e-commerce platforms like Nykaa, Amazon, and Flipkart, among others.
