Some good news at last for Ben Sherman. In the past six months the company has posted less-than-promising financial results and saw its CEO leave in November. Finally, a replacement has been found.

Since Pan Philippou left the company after a three year stint, Tom Chubb, CEO of Oxford Industries - Ben Sherman’s parent company – had been overseeing the company in the interim. Officially taking over of CEO of Ben Sherman is Mark Maidment, who arrived at the company as head of design in 2002 after a period at Diesel. In 2005, he was promoted to creative director of Ben Sherman.

Elsewhere in the company, Scott Wakefield, ex-Calvin Klein has been appointed head of retail. Colin Naylor, previously at Diesel, has been named as head of international sales and Peter Lawley has been promoted to chief commercial officer. To support Mark Maidment in his position, former finance director Lindsay Dunsmuir has been appointed chief operating officer.
