Bella Hadid is new Charlotte Tilbury muse in anniversary year

High-profile model Bella Hadid has become the latest muse for Charlotte Tilbury, the upscale mega-beauty brand majority owned by Puig.

She joins a number of other big names on Tilbury’s muse list, including Kate Moss, Jourdan Dunn, Twiggy, Lily James, Michaela Jae Rodriguez, and Han So-hee.

It’s the brand’s 10th anniversary this year and Hadid will be a big part of that, fronting “standout product and digital beauty innovations, iconic campaigns, original content creation and disruptive global moments”.

In a statement, Hadid said she’s a long-time user/admirer of the brand and hailed the “quality and technology of Charlotte’s formulas [meaning] I can look and feel my most confident self, from red carpets to fashion shows, to shoots”.

The company also called her a “modern-day beauty icon — and a digitally native, digitally creative innovator”.

Regardless of the hyperbole, it’s undeniable that Charlotte Tilbury is a hugely popular and growing brand that has carved out a major market share in a relatively short period. And Hadid is a global superstar whose beauty (and fashion) choices are endlessly discussed on social media and imitated in the real world.

The company had been teasing the announcement on its social media earlier this week, simply showing a silhouette, with plenty of commentators guessing correctly that it was Bella Hadid.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty had entered the Indian market by signing an exclusive partnership with beauty retailer Nykaa in 2020. It is available on Nykaa’s website, App, and select Nykaa stores across India.
