Bella Casa saw its profits after tax increase by 50 percent to Rs 9 crore ($1.4 million) during the 2019 financial year which ended in March. The profits came from a revenue of Rs 155 crore, up from Rs 130 crore the year before, TNN reported.

The Jaipur-based brand opened 800 outlets across India in the 2019 financial year to increase its store count to 2,000. “We are on course to reach the revenue of Rs 320 crore in the next two-three years,” Bella Casa Fashion & Retail Limited’s chief operating officer Gaurav Gupta told TNN.

Gupta also attributed the brand’s growth to the appeal of its brand ambassador, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. “Bringing Jacqueline on board as our brand ambassador has given us pan-India visibility and delivered on the growth strategy that we set out to achieve,” said Gupta. The business also declared a dividend of 10 percent for all of its shareholders following its profit increase.
