Being Human expands base in South India, opens store in Chennai

Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Being Human brand has expanded its base in the South Indian market by opening an exclusive brand outlet in the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
 

The new store is located at the Palladium Mall at Velacherry and spread across 1322 square foot. It will house exclusive Being Human clothing and accessories at the store.
 
The brand already has a strong presence in South India with exclusive outlets in metro cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi and plans to further strengthen it by adding a store in Coimbatore next month.

"We are proud to announce our maiden exclusive store in Chennai at luxe mall Palladium. This will be our fourth addition in the South Indian market", The Mandhana Retail Ventures Ltd, CEO, Manish Mandhana was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
 
“In the Southern market, the company currently has stores in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi. By next month we will be opening a store in Coimbatore. The company would have opened 15 new outlets before the end of current financial year across the country,” he added.
 
Being Human recently completed 5 years and is planning to launch a new label called ‘Athleisure’ in the coming months. Apart from opening exclusive brand outlets, it is looking to aggressively expand its retail business in Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities in India by opening 1500 point-of-sale (POS) outlets in next three years.
 
Being Human brand was launched in 2012 by Salman Khan in collaboration with Mandhana Retail Ventures Limited. Being Human currently has 30 exclusive stores, 24 franchise stores, 405 multi-brand outlets, shop-in-shops and four e-stores across the country.
 
The brand is also available in leading international markets such as Europe, Mauritius, the Middle-East and Nepal with one exclusive store in Bordeaux, France.
