Beccos to expand retail presence in India

Korean designer brand Beccos is looking to expand its retail presence in India by opening new stores across India to widen its reach in the country.
The brand recently opened its largest flagship store with an area of 3500 sq ft at Time Square Building in Ahmedabad.
It plans to add five more stores in the city before the end of the current financial year and plans to open around 50 stores across India. Beccos claims to have received strong sales since its launch in India and sees huge potential for growth in the country.
Gauttam Kumar Jain, Director, Beccos India, said, ‘We are overwhelmed with the tremendous response we have received from Indian consumers and would like to thank them on behalf of the entire Beccos team.”
Jignesh Thakkar, franchise owner added, “Our third store in Ahmedabad is an attempt to raise the bar in experiential shopping and offer an immersive experience. We see tremendous potential in the Indian market and will be expanding our retail presence to 5 stores by March 2020.”
Beccos had entered the Indian market in 2018 with its first store in Delhi. Beccos is eyeing revenue of Rs 250 crore ($35.2 million) from the Indian market in the next fiscal.
