Bblunt expands presence with three new salons in Kolkata

Honasa Consumer Pvt. Ltd (HCPL)-owned brand Bblunt has expanded its retail presence with the opening of three new salons in the city of joy Kolkata.

The new salons located at Hungerford Street, Alipore, and Janak Road will offer high-end beauty and hair care services.

Spoorthy Shetty, CEO at Bblunt in a statement said, “Kolkata has always been special for us. We launched our first-ever franchise salon here in 2020 and with the patronage received, we are now set to launch 3 company-owned company-operated salons across the city.”

Ghazal Alagh, co-founder at HCPL added, “The salon industry in Kolkata has witnessed significant growth in recent years, with an increasing number of people opting for specialized salons for grooming and self-care. The opening of Bblunt’s three new outlets in the city is a testament to this trend, and we believe it will further contribute to the industry's growth by providing customers with a diverse range of high-quality services and experiences."

Bblunt is a premium hair care, hair colourr and styling products brand. It’s salon business has a total of 22 outlets in India.

HCPL, parent company of Mamaearth, has acquired Bblunt last year and manages the hair care and styling products business for the brand.
