Bath & Body Works opens first 'high street format' store in Bengaluru

US-based personal care, fragrance, and bath care brand Bath & Body Works has opened its first ‘high street format’ store in Bengaluru. The 1,500 square foot store is located in the metro’s Indira Nagar area. 

“Excited to announce that Bath & Body Works’ 30th store is now operational in India as first ‘high +street store format’,” announced Apparel Group India’s assistant manager of real estate on Linkedin. The store is located on the on the 100 Feet Road high street. 

The store houses Bath & Body Works full product selection including fragrances, candles, bath and relaxation products, and personal care goods among others. The brand specialises in original, themed scent blends with which it infuses its products. 

The store brings the brand’s India brick-and-mortar total to 30, India Retailing reported. Bath & Body Works currently has four stores in Bengaluru: its new Indira Nagar store, a store in Whitefield’s Phoenix Market City mall, one is Ashok Nagar’s Garuda Mall, and a store in Binnipete’s Lulu Mall.
 
Bath & Body Works launched in India in 2018 when the business partnered with Apparel Group India and launched its first store inside New Delhi’s Select Citywalk mall. In 2019, Bath & Body Works launched an e-commerce platform for the Indian market to cater to customers across the country. The brand also retails on a number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Nykaa, Amazon India, and Myntra.
