Bath & Body Works launches at Mumbai's Palladium mall
Bath & Body Works continues its India retail expansion with a new store in Mumbai in time for the winter festive season. The store, which will open at 2pm today with a range of promotions on offer, will house the brand’s selection of fragrances, body lotions, bath products, scented candles, and other products.
The store opening is part of the brand’s plan to open a total of 50 stores across India in the next five years. The plan, announced in July this year, has already seen stores open in the Delhi NCR including in Noida, Gurugram, and Vasant Kunj. Bath & Body Works has partnered with Major Brands India for distribution in the country and will invest around Rs 80 crore ($12 million) in its retail expansion.
The Palladium mall is also currently running a “Phoenix Festival” from October to December that celebrates “culture, dining, and lux shopping” according to the mall’s social media.
The mall, which is located in Mumbai’s Lower Parel district, houses a number of international fashion and beauty brands including Vero Moda, Mont Blanc, MAC, Kiehl’s, Longchamp, and Ted Baker.
