After operating in the personal care space for a decade, bath and body brand Kimirica has stepped into skincare with its new launch of 100% vegan products.
Kimirica has launched three new skin elixirs as its first foray into skincare, the brand announced in a press release on December 17. Designed as ‘clean beauty’ products, the line is also paraben-free, SLS-free, cruelty-free, and fair-trade.
“While going through the recent K-beauty trends that are primarily focused on immediate results and performance we realised that there is a need to give a contemporary outlook to our traditional plant-based science and make it more functional and effective,” said Kimirica’s co-founder Kimi Jain in a press release. “Each of our products are meticulously created and backed by years of research to present a superior skincare line that’s plant-powered and driven by modern science.”
The brand’s first skincare products are a ‘Skin Rejuvenating Serum’ with Ashwagandha and Manjistha; ‘Skin Radiance Serum’ with skin-lightening Oligopeptide-68; and ‘Botanical Hydrator- Squalane Oil’ designed to hydrate reduce the appearance of fine lines.
“We have carefully selected each plant-based ingredient and researched its perfect match of modern actives to create a high-performing formulation that is blended in our laboratory by a team of 15+ scientists and researchers ,” said Kimirica’s co-founder Rica Jain.
“From ideation, compounding, production, designing to customer service; everything happens under one roof by an enthusiastic team of 500-plus people.”
