Bangalore Fashion Week to hold 23rd edition this September

Bangalore Fashion Week will hold a Winter Festive edition from September 8 to 11 and its 23rd edition will feature runway shows, seminars, workshops, and a ‘Lifestyle Experience Zone’ among others. 

The runway shows will feature designers from across India as well as from other countries, the event organiser Dream Merchants announced on its website. The event aims to showcase designers’ latest collections to a global audience and facilitate a dialogue between fashion designers and trade buyers. 

The four-day event has opened up designer registration for its upcoming edition. The event will feature both traditional and western wear designers. Fitting and production sessions for the fashion week will begin on September 6 and the event will be followed by a series of after parties. 

The previous edition of Bangalore Fashion Week was sponsored by online clothing store Wear Style as well as Kingfisher Ultra and Bisleri Vedica. The event organiser has already opened model registrations for its upcoming edition. 

Dream Merchants runs a number of fashion themed events including beauty pageant Miss Bangalore as well as music events including World Music Week, according to its website. The events business is headquartered in Bangalore.
