Bangalore Times Fashion Week to feature Ritu Kumar, JD Institute of Fashion Technology

The upcoming fourth edition of Bangalore Times Fashion Week will feature designers Neeta Lulla, Ritu Kumar, Samant Chauhan, and Paresh Lamba, as well as students from the JD Institute of Fashion Technology.

From June 1 to 2, the Bangalore Times Fashion Week will take place at the Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway and will bring a host of designers to the city. The Times-run fashion week has also just announced its official jewellery partner as Tarinika Jewellery and its mall partner as Phoenix Marketcity Mall. 

Designer Thomas Abraham will showcase a collection for IDeA Design House and other participating brands will include Ashok Maanay, Kavita Agarwal, Shwetha Nandakumar, House of Rare, Aviva Bidapa, Indralokk, Fulki, Koskii, Madame, and Hopscotch. Students from the JD Institute of Fashion Technology will also showcase their designs on the runway at a graduate showcase. 

The fashion week also recently held model auditions specially for transgender models as part of its ongoing support the the Times Out and Proud campaign to support the LGBTQIA+ community. The auditions took place on May 25 with an open casting call.
